Cebu's Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Buying in a State of Calamity Ordinance

To avoid hoarding and panic buying when purchasing groceries, the Cebu City Council has passed an ordinance limiting the purchase of basic goods.

The ordinance allows consumers to purchase the following goods in limited quantities only. The following are:

Indicated limits are per person per day and only 13 years old and above are allowed to make purchases as mandated by the ordinance.

Due to urgency, the Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Buying in a State of Calamity Ordinance of Cebu City, will take effect immediately.
